Servicing Emergency Lighting

The purpose of emergency lighting is to provide a secondary means of illumination when the power supply to the normal lighting fails. BS 5266 is the British Standard for emergency lighting and all emergency lighting systems should be installed and maintained in accordance with these standards.   Implementation of a periodic service schedule ensures that your emergency lighting system is operational when it is required.  Peterlee Fire Company employ fully qualified electricians who are experienced in the testing of emergency lighting.
